The government instructed to ensure the smooth operation of invincibility points throughout the country. Currently, 6,908 such points are already operating in Ukraine, and more than two thousand are in reserve. The decision was made against the background of frost and the consequences of enemy attacks on energy infrastructure. About this reported Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko.

According to her, the decision was made taking into account the difficult situation in energy, low temperatures and people’s needs for heat, communication and the ability to recharge devices.

Svyridenko reported that the previous day they had checked the operation of the inviolability points on the left bank of Kyiv and in the Kyiv region. Currently, there are almost 1,300 such points operating in the capital alone. “Almost 1,300 points are operating in Kyiv, they are provided by authorities, the State Emergency Service, the National Police and entrepreneurs,” she said.

According to the Prime Minister, 6,908 points of invincibility are currently deployed across the country. Another 2,703 points are prepared in reserve and can be promptly opened in the event of a worsening situation.

The government emphasizes that all points must be fully ready for work under any conditions. For this, the relevant services were instructed to provide backup power sources, fuel reserves, stable means of communication and the necessary equipment. “The government instructed all the relevant bodies and services to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the points of invincibility, to provide backup power, fuel, means of communication and everything necessary to help people,” Svyridenko emphasized.

Separately, she spoke about an additional solution to help people in regions affected by enemy attacks. We are talking about the so-called unbreakable wagons from Ukrzaliznytsia. “The first seven such wagons were put into operation today in the Kyiv region to help people after enemy attacks,” the Prime Minister said.

According to her, the carriages are fully adapted for the stay of people in difficult conditions. There is a heating system, access to Starlink, household appliances, separate areas for families with children and for people with pets. One such car can accommodate about 40 people at the same time. In total, “Ukrzaliznytsia” has already converted 100 passenger cars from the idle fleet.

Svyridenko also emphasized that the regional military administrations together with the local authorities should maximally deploy additional points of invincibility not only in Kyiv, but also throughout the country. “The OVA, together with local authorities, should deploy additional points as much as possible – not only in the capital, but also throughout the country in conditions of worsening weather and low temperatures,” she said.

According to her, the resources of large state-owned enterprises and banks are involved in this work. Separately, the Prime Minister thanked Ukrainian businesses that open their premises for people. “I am grateful to the Ukrainian business, which is actively involved and gives people the opportunity to recharge and warm up in their premises,” added Svyridenko.
