The Ukrainian super heavyweight told why his fight in Germany failed

Viktor Vykhrist will not box in Oberhausen”, — write: sport.ua

On January 10, in Oberhausen, Germany, local athlete Agit Kabael will defend the title of interim WBC heavyweight champion in a fight against Damian Knyba from Poland.

In the undercard of this confrontation, a rating match with the participation of the Ukrainian was supposed to take place Viktor Vykhrist. But it was cancelled.

This is how Viktor Vykhrist commented on this difference exclusively for Sport.ua.

“I don’t know why the organizers of the title fight had this failure. For my part, I fulfilled all the agreements. He trained and sparred for more than a month and was ready for another challenge for himself.

Of course, it’s a shame, because all the preparation went to waste. However, we must move on. I am staying in Hamburg and will continue to train. My promoters promised that at the end of January or the beginning of February, I will hold my 18th fight in the professional ring.”

Earlier it was reported that the next fight of the Ukrainian super heavyweight is under threat of failure.
