The military units of Ukraine received 225,000 weapons worth more than 10 billion hryvnias during the five months of operation of the DOT-Chain Defense marketplace.
Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal noted that the platform allows units to directly order the necessary unmanned aerial vehicles and electronic warfare equipment, streamlining the supply process. This step contributes not only to the provision of the military, but also to the development of domestic production.
Shmyhal emphasized that all positions available on the platform are created only by Ukrainian producers, which stimulates the country’s economy.
Since the launch of the marketplace, the delivery time has been significantly reduced: now divisions can receive the necessary materials in just 10 days from the moment of the request. This optimizes military logistics and increases the effectiveness of combat operations.
“State rear operator” of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for the first time initiated large-scale procurement of systems for the selection of biological samples from military personnel. The project provides for the purchase of 150,000 sets, for which UAH 37.8 million has been allocated from the budget.
