From January 1, 2026, social support programs will no longer operate in the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk Oblast.

The occupation administration, which claims to be moving to the federal standards of the Russian Federation, actually cancels payments for the most vulnerable sections of the population, including large families, people with disabilities and those who do not receive a pension. Compensation for utilities, travel and fuel payments are also canceled, leading to humanitarian crises in the region. informs Center of National Resistance (CNS).

The cancellation of social benefits is caused by insufficient budget funding from Russia, where the allocated funds are redirected to military needs. As a result, civilians found themselves without basic protection, forced to seek livelihoods in conditions of scarcity of resources.

Against the background of the lack of support, families are going through difficult times, in particular, in Rubizhny, where they are caring for a family of seven children who were left without any financial resources. Prospects for further actions are still unknown, but the situation may worsen, as local residents continue to need urgent humanitarian assistance.

Russian forces in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region are cooking systematic repression against the civilian population. The occupiers are changing tactics, effectively allowing their military to use violence without restraint.

We will remind you that the process of leaving the civilian population from the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region has become much more difficult and dangerous.

We will remind you that in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the Russian occupiers invented a new way to put pressure on citizens who refuse their Russian passports.

Residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine may be left without heat. This will happen if they do not have a passport of the Russian Federation.

Also, Russia continues the criminal process of passporting the population in the occupied territories of Ukraine. The next victims of these acts should be people with disabilities.
