After the massive Russian attack in Kyiv, the water supply has been fully restored, said Oleksiy Kuleba, Minister of Community and Territorial Development.

Regarding the restoration of heat supply, Kuleba said that the situation is difficult. Emergency recovery works are ongoing.

“The city authorities and communal services decided to drain the water from the heating systems during the restoration works. This is a technical procedure that must be done so that the water does not freeze in the pipes. So that there is no damage to internal networks in houses and apartments, and to avoid accidents and pipe breaks during power outages,” he wrote in a telegram.

According to his forecasts, heat will be restored in some districts of Kyiv during this day, and in some areas, where the damage is more difficult, additional time will be needed for restoration – this applies to about half of the residential buildings of the capital.

Medical facilities in Kyiv are provided with heat from mobile boilers, the minister added.
