Genoa’s Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinovsky continues to write his name in the history of Italian football. In the match of the 19th round of Serie A against Milan, he provided an assist, which became his 29th in his career in the Italian championship.

This assist allowed Malinovsky to equal Andriy Shevchenko on the list of Ukrainian footballers with the most assists in Serie A. The legendary Milan forward also finished his performances in Italy with 29 assists.

According to Transfermarkt, Malinovsky made most of the assists as part of Atalanta, where he spent the brightest part of his Italian career, and added the rest as a player of Genoa.
