Ukrainian tennis player Darya Snigur (WTA 149) completed the WTA 125 hard tournament in Canberra, Australia.
In the semifinals, the Ukrainian was defeated in two sets by Joanna Garland (Chinese Taipei, WTA 129) in 1 hour and 35 minutes.

Snigur played against Garland for the first time. Joanna will fight either Polina Kudermetova or Himeno Sakatsume in the final.
On the Canberra courts, Snigur managed to beat Tamara Korpach, Liang Enshuo and Simona Waltert.
Darya held the first competitions in the new season. Next week, she will compete in the Australian Open qualifiers.
