Blogger and journalist Svitlana Kushnir in her own blog on the Censor.Net website, she investigated the professional path of People’s Deputy Maryana Bezuglai and expressed the opinion that the latter can criticize the military leadership in the interests of the aggressor.
VIDEO OF THE DAY
The journalist reminds that Bezugla’s political activity has been marked by many high-profile scandals ever since she was elected to the parliament. In particular, as Svitlana Kushnir points out, during the parliamentary elections, observers of the public network “Opora” in the Obolon district of Kyiv recorded the distribution of branded t-shirts and caps for registration of subscriptions to the candidate’s pages in social networks.
In the Verkhovna Rada, Bezugla held the post of deputy chairman of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence for a long period of time. At the same time, according to Kushnir, Nardepka became the most famous in the public space after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation – because of her critical remarks about the then Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny. Later, the current Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky became the object of her statements.
“Bezugla began to accuse him of ignoring important problems in the army and even filed a complaint with the Security Intelligence Service, reporting the alleged obstruction of her parliamentary activities,” the blogger writes.

Separately, Kushnir mentions the events in the summer of 2022, when during the battles for Severodonetsk and Lysychansk, Bezugla was at the command posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the journalist, “the deputy’s actions actually disrupted the evacuation of the local population from Severodonetsk” (link — Censor.net).
Another episode that Kushnir calls “informational support of the enemy” was Bezuglai’s statement after the August 26, 2024 missile strike, when she publicly stated that an Air Force F-16 fighter jet of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was shot down by friendly fire. Then the information of Nardepka was quickly denied by the command of the PS.
Kushnir also suggested in her publication on the Censor.Net website, with reference to information from political circles, that Bezugla could receive funds for materials and public speeches criticizing the leadership of the ZSU.

“In particular, there are rumors that one of her posts on FB is worth from 1.5 to 2 thousand dollars, a comment mentioning her name is worth 500-1000 dollars, and a speech from the seat in the Verkhovna Rada criticizing one or another military officer is worth at least 5 thousand dollars,” Kushnir wrote in her blog on Censor.Net.
The journalist recalled that due to a number of scandals, Bezugla was removed from the post of deputy head of the specialized committee, and was also included in the “Peacemaker” base for actions that are considered as discrediting the Ukrainian authorities and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, her colleagues appealed to the Security Service of Ukraine with statements regarding her possible disclosure of restricted information.
“Despite this, Bezugla is still a People’s Deputy and continues her public activities,” Kushnir notes and calls her publication in Censor.Net an “open appeal” to the Security Service of Ukraine with the demand to review Bezugla’s actions for the presence of a crime under Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason).
It should be noted that in the summer of the current year, the Rules Committee of the VRU, not for the first time, supported with the minimum necessary number of votes the proposal to remove Bezuglai from participation in parliament sessions for constant violations of the rules of procedure.
