Lawyer and former deputy head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA Volodymyr Orlov claims that the criminal proceedings against him are one hundred percent provocation, organized with the participation of a “full-time” law enforcement agent and the former leadership of the regional administration.
The applicant in the case was Oleksiy Gonchar (Torop in the materials), a person with a Russian past and convictions for fraud, who now appears in a number of similar cases as a provocateur.
According to Orlov, the “agent” manipulated the topic of helping the army, pretending to be a military man, and later began offering money for solving land issues that were not even part of the deputy’s competence. Orlov also directly stated the interest in this case of the then head of the OVA Serhiy Lysak.
“He repeatedly told me that NABU wants my release. I left on my own in July, and two months later they came to me with a search warrant,” he said, adding that he considered the case fabricated by order of the former manager.
Earlier reported that d NABU staff from May 2024 investigated the case of allegedly receiving a bribe by the former first deputy head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, lawyer Volodymyr Orlov. Only now in court complete the whole the stage of questioning all witnesses and it turned out that the case is completely empty and is based only on the testimony of the “whistleblower” who fabricated it.
