The police of the Mykolaiv region started a pre-trial investigation due to the alleged illegal deprivation of liberty of a man, which could have happened in one of the territorial recruitment and social support centers (TCC and SP).

“On January 6, the Voznesensk District Police Department received a statement from a 40-year-old man that from December 25, 2025 to January 6 of this year, he was illegally detained and physically injured by military personnel of one of the TCC and SP,” the message reads.
The police informed that, based on this fact, criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 2 of Art. 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Illegal deprivation of liberty or abduction of a person accompanied by inflicting physical suffering on him for a long time.”
A number of investigative and operative measures are being taken to establish all the circumstances of the event and the persons involved.
In turn, the Mykolayiv regional TCC and SP reported that “in connection with the dissemination of a public statement by a citizen regarding possible illegal actions by representatives of the 3rd department of the Voznesensky district TCC and SP in relation to her brother,” an official investigation has been launched with the aim of objectively clarifying all the circumstances, establishing the real participants in the event and the degree of their guilt.
