Poplars are raising three children / photo UNIANUkrainian singer Olena Topolya told how her parents found out about her divorce from Taras Topolya, the soloist of the “Antitila” band, with whom they had been married for 12 years.
In an interview with Lux FM, the artist said that she informed her parents even before they made a joint appeal to fans. To Yevhen Feshak’s question about whether the families of Taras and Elena persuaded them to change their minds, the singer answered as follows:
“I don’t know about Taras’s parents, but my parents thought: “Make peace, everything will be fine”. I don’t know, I’m not planning anything, I’m not planning anything. Now yes, we decided it together, and now it’s such a choice.”
On the presenter’s assumption that the final decision on the breakup could not belong to her, but to Taras, Olena assured that they came to this together. “This is a decision of two,” the singer added.
It will be recalled that Ukrainian artists Taras and Olena Topolya divorced after twelve years of marriage, it became known at the beginning of December. The couple has been married since 2013 and raised three children: sons Roman and Mark and daughter Maria.
The statement stated that the decision to divorce was mutual. The couple emphasized the desire to maintain mutual respect and dignity, and wished each other success in the future. The artists also assured that they will remain partners in raising children.
