American showman and boxer Jake Paul talked about his well-being after a heavy knockout defeat by British heavyweight Anthony Joshua. The fight took place on December 20 in Miami and ended prematurely in the 6th round, after which Paul was hospitalized.
Doctors diagnosed the boxer with a double fracture of the jaw, due to which he was fitted with four plates.
“I have four plates in my jaw, but that’s part of the sport. Recovery is quite difficult. I’m a little exhausted, it’s hard for me to sleep: I lie down on the pillow, my jaw goes to the left – and I wake up,” Paul admitted.
“It was an incredible night. I learned a lot, gained a lot of experience, and this year we are moving on – to new battles,” said Paul.
