On January 1, a soldier of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army (UDA) Lana “Sati” Chornohorska was killed in the southern direction of the front after being hit by a Russian UAV.

Literally: “Sati was a dedicated soldier, an idealistic person and a true friend. In the unit, she was engaged in various work: from the training of drones to their combat use, she was both a pilot and a navigator of various UAVs. This is a great loss for our unit.”

Details: As “Media Detector” explains, Lana Chornohorska was an artist, cultural figure and activist. She was born in Zaporizhzhia, studied in Dnipro, lived in various cities during her life, including Lviv, Kyiv and Kharkiv. From 2020 to 2021, she worked in the Kharkiv media “Luke”.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Chornogorsk was a volunteer, and in 2024 she joined the “Successful” unit of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, underwent training and performed tasks on the front lines.
