“In the near future, Minister Klymenko will present candidates to replace the head of the State Security Service, and Serhiy Deineko will continue working in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine,” he wrote in a telegram after the report of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.
According to him, he and Klymenko discussed the activities of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine separately.
The President noted that under the leadership of Serhiy Deinek, the DPSU has gone through a significant path of development and strengthening for more than six years, at the same time, there is a “task to change approaches in the work of the DPSU.”
Serhiy Deyneka was appointed head of the State Border Service of Ukraine in June 2019. He has been working in the border service system since 1996.
