Lyudmila Shemelynets, First Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, told about this on the air of the telethon.
You can apply for help in two ways:
- submit an application to the Pension Fund;
- issue an application through the “eMalyatko” service, which is available in “Dia”.
“Since the technical implementation of the program may take some time, if you want to apply for assistance today, you need to contact the Pension Fund,” advises Shemelinets.
50 thousand hryvnias upon the birth of a childFrom January 1, 2026, when a child is born, its parents will be able to receive payments in the amount of 50,000 hryvnias. The relevant law was voted for in the Verkhovna Rada on November 5 – 294 votes were in favor.
Mothers who gave birth after January 1, 2026 will receive UAH 50,000. For children who will not be one year old on this date, monthly fixed payments are provided.
According to experts, the payments will create conditions for increasing the birth rate and provide support to young families. In the future, the amount of assistance will be revised every year as part of the adoption of the law on the State Budget.
It should be noted that from 2028, the Ukrainian government also plans to launch the “eSadok” program. It provides for the provision of monthly payments for children aged 3 to 6 years, which will be financed with the help of local budgets.
