According to The Athletic , PSV Eindhoven have rejected Fulham’s initial bid of $33m (£26m) for USA striker Ricardo Pepi. The Premier League club are expected to return with an improved offer as they look to bolster their attack in the January transfer window. At the same time, the competition for the signature of the 22-year-old forward remains high.

The Dutch champions are under no pressure to sell Pepi, having signed a long-term contract with the club until 2030 earlier this year. Fulham is not the only one keeping an eye on the American – another offer from another European club is expected.

During his time at PSV, Pepi established himself as one of the team’s most prolific players, scoring 25 goals in 59 matches. He has already scored 10 goals and 2 assists in 957 minutes in all competitions this season. Pepi finished the previous 2024/25 season with 18 goals in 1,132 minutes while missing half the season with a knee injury.
