Barcelona midfielder Pedri was unable to play in the last match of the year against Villarreal (2:0) due to hamstring discomfort.

According to AS, the midfielder has fully recovered and will be able to take part in the next match against Espanyol, which will take place on January 3, 2026. In addition, Dani Olmo should return to Barcelona after a shoulder injury.

Pedri has made 19 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona this season, scoring two goals and providing six assists.

Barcelona currently lead the Spanish league with 46 points, four points ahead of Real Madrid.
