Manchester United are interested in signing Dutch AZ Alkmaar midfielder Kes Smith. This is reported by The Athletic.
According to the source, the management of the Mancunian club is serious about buying the 19-year-old Dutchman, despite the amount they want to receive in Alkmaar — 60 million euros.
It is noted that Real Madrid is also interested in Smith.
The current employment agreement of the player with the club is calculated until June 30, 2028. Transfermarkt estimates it at 22 million euros.
