WBC, WBA and IBF super heavyweight world champion (over 90.7 kg) Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs) reacted to the terrible accident involving the popular British boxer Anthony Joshua (29-4, 25 KOs).
The Lexus, in which the former champion was, was involved in an accident in Nigeria. Joshua’s trainers Robert Latz and Sina Gami died in the accident. Both were in the front seat of the car, with Anthony sitting in the back.
Latz was Joshua’s personal trainer, Gami was a physical training coach and a close friend of the boxer.
“This is an incredible loss. Cena and Lutz are incredible people who were not only part of Joshua’s team, but also his friends.
My sincere condolences to their families, loved ones and all who knew them. Anthony, I wish you a speedy recovery. Hold on, champion,” Usyk wrote on social networks.
