For the winter holidays, “Nova poshta” and “Ukrposhta” changed their work schedule so that employees could spend time with their families, and Ukrainians had time to send parcels and postcards. Most days before and after the holidays will be open as usual, but there will be special rules on December 31st and January 1st. This was reported in the press services of the companies.
Reduced hours on New Year’s Eve
On December 31, both companies will work a shorter day. Ukrposhta will accept parcels and serve customers until 16:00, and Nova Poshta – until 17:00. This will allow employees to prepare for the holiday events and spend time with their families. “So that the parcels make it, and we go to the families,” adds Ukrposhta.
Closed on January 1
Both companies will be closed on January 1. It’s a day for relaxation and celebration, even postal workers need a break after the busy pre-holiday period.
From January 2, branches of both companies will work according to the usual schedule. Ukrainians are advised to plan shipments in advance so that holiday packages and greetings arrive on time. “Plan the shipment in advance – and we will make sure that your warm greetings reach the addressees,” the press service of Ukrposhta notes.
