According to him, the latest Russian attack led to significant damage to the energy infrastructure of Kyiv region. The deputy minister added that emergency shutdowns will continue to operate on the left bank of Kyiv and in some areas of the region.
“Emergency recovery works are ongoing,” Kolisnyk informed.
He added that in order to stabilize the operation of the power system in some regions, emergency shutdowns are forced to be used.
“In the rest of the regions, there are hourly shutdown schedules and capacity limitation schedules for industry and business. Consumers can get up-to-date information on the official resources of distribution system operators (oblenergo, – UNIAN),” the deputy minister added.
Kolisnyk also reported that 215 settlements were partially cut off due to unfavorable weather conditions in a number of regions.
