Frosty and with snow: forecasters told what kind of weather to expect for the New Year

For the next three days, it will be freezing in most regions of Ukraine, it will snow a little, and there will be ice on the roads.

Details: On December 30 in most regions, on December 31 in Ukraine, except for the south and southeast, light snow is expected.

Wind gusts of 15-20 m/s in the western part of the country; the temperature at night is 1-9° of frost (December 31 in the east, northeast of the country and in the Carpathians to minus 13°), during the day from 6° of frost to 2° of heat.

On January 1, mostly without precipitation, only at night in the western, sometimes in the northern regions, in the daytime in the Carpathians, a little snow; temperature drop at night to 6-14° of frost, during the day to 1-7° of frost.

There is ice on the country’s roads in places, forecasters say.
