This decision was a response to the wishes of passengers who want to reach Rakhiv, the highest mountain city in Ukraine, famous for its nature and opportunities for active recreation.
UZ said that they “listened to the wishes of passengers” and continued the route of the flagship train “Hutsulshchyna” #95/96 “Kyiv – Yasinya”.
So, from December 28, 2025, it runs:

to the city of Rakhiv;

with a stop at Kvasy station.
“Rakhivshchyna, which is in Transcarpathia, is a real high-altitude pearl of Ukraine: the land of rapid streams, valleys and mountain ridges, where active rest and recovery begins,” Ukrainians were reminded.
At the same time, Kvasy is known for its mineral springs and healing air.
So, after the implemented changes, both Rakhiv (the highest mountain city in Ukraine) and Kvasy – “become even closer for travel.”
Passengers were told that in addition to train No. 95/96 “Hutsulshchyna”, the following also continue to run to Rakhov.

State carrier “Ukrzaliznytsia” significantly expanded offering seats for the Christmas and New Year holidays by launching 16 additional trains, trailers and increasing the frequency of regular flights.
