On the evening of December 27, a Russian attack drone hit the roof of a two-story residential building in the Primorsky district of Odessa, causing a large-scale fire in the residential sector.
According to Oleh Kiper, the head of Odesa OVA, the enemy attack led to the destruction of not only private property, but also the objects of the city’s social infrastructure. At the site of the impact, the rescue services quickly started work to extinguish the fire and examine the damaged structures.
To support the affected residents, the authorities have organized an operational headquarters, where citizens can get the necessary help and issue documents on property damage. Construction materials for temporary closing of broken windows in residential buildings and social institutions have already been delivered to the location. Despite the seriousness of the destruction, information about the number of victims continues to be clarified, as the rescuers continue to analyze the rubble and check the premises.
This strike was part of a massive night attack by the Russian Federation on the southern regions of Ukraine using kamikaze drones of the Shahed type. Currently, communal services are working to restore damaged communications in the area, and law enforcement officers are recording the consequences of yet another Russian war crime against the civilian population. The situation is under the control of local authorities, who promise to provide maximum assistance to all those who lost their homes or suffered damage as a result of the explosion.
Another massive Russian strike took place in Kyiv on December 27. Since the night, the enemy has used almost 500 drones, a significant number of Shaheds, as well as 40 missiles, including Daggers. The main target is the energy and civil infrastructure of the capital.
The Russian terrorist attack on Kyiv lasted almost all night. As a result of enemy shelling, damage was recorded at a number of locations in seven districts of the capital.
