A famous British promoter Frank Warren commented on the situation surrounding the WBC, WBA and IBF heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk.
“Let’s see what will happen with Oleksandr Usyk. He’s only fought once this year, which has put a damper on top title fights. He needs to defend his belts next year. If he doesn’t do this, he will be forced to give up the titles,” Warren said.
Previously, the WBC, WBA and IBF heavyweight title holder (over 90.7 kg) Oleksandr Usyk (24–0, 15 KOs) talked about his plans and admitted when he intends to end his professional career. The boxer recently made the WBO title vacant and lost the status of absolute world champion.
