On Saturday, December 27, a large-scale Ring V boxing night took place in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) at the Mohammed Abdo Arena. The main event of the show was a fight for the title of absolute world champion, in which the Japanese star Naoya Inoue and the Mexican challenger Alan David Picasso met.
The Japanese boxer managed to win a convincing victory – the fight went through all 12 rounds.
The fight was attended by Ukrainian super heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk, who watched the fight from ringside. After the fight, the Ukrainian boxer congratulated the Japanese through his Instagram.
Inoue remains the only absolute world champion in boxing at this time.
