The court found the 11th-grade student of Lyceum No. 15 in Khmelnytskyi guilty of illegally disseminating information about the movement, movement and location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and transferring this data to a representative of a foreign special service.
This is reported in the court register.
According to the case file, in the middle of June 2025, the minor started communicating with a serviceman of the Information Operations Center of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation via Telegram. A representative of the enemy special service offered the girl cooperation for a reward, to which she voluntarily agreed.
The first task was the video recording of the buildings of the National Academy of the State Border Service of Ukraine, for which the accused received UAH 949. Then the girl removed the territory of the military unit in Khmelnytskyi – a fence, checkpoint, military equipment and buildings, for which she received 501 UAH. She received another UAH 902 for surveying the territory of the regional TCC.
The Russian curator also ordered the installation of a video camera on the railway track to record the movement of trains with military equipment and ammunition. For these purposes, he allocated almost 3.5 thousand UAH, the girl purchased and installed the equipment, for which she received 1.4 thousand UAH. The camera worked for about two hours, after which SBU officers discovered it and detained the minor.
The accused could have received from 8 to 12 years in prison, but avoided imprisonment thanks to a plea deal. The court approved a sentence of five years of imprisonment, replaced by two years of probation, taking into account a four-month stay in the pre-trial detention center.
In addition, the court obliged the minor to periodically appear for registration at the probation authority, to report on a change of residence, work or study, and forbade her to travel outside of Ukraine without consent. Also, 4.4 thousand hryvnias of procedural costs were collected from the legal representative of the accused in favor of the state.
