The UA.News news agency received confirmation from the Office of the President of Ukraine regarding the dismissal of Oleksandr Bevz, the adviser to the head of the Office. At the same time, he was appointed to the position of adviser to the Cabinet of the President of Ukraine in the Office of the President.

Journalists of UA.News turned to OP with a request regarding the position of Oleksandr Bevs and his authority to participate in the negotiations.
The department noted that Oleksandr Bevz was dismissed from the position of adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine and appointed to the position of adviser to the Cabinet of the President of Ukraine.
In addition, according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 869/2025 of November 28, 2025, Oleksandr Bevz is part of the delegation of Ukraine to participate in the negotiation process with the United States of America and other international partners of Ukraine, as well as with representatives of the Russian Federation regarding the achievement of a just and sustainable peace.
It will be recalled that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the possible meeting of the American negotiating team with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, which may take place on Wednesday, December 24.
