In Khmelnytskyi, a man was sentenced for a fake report about the mining of the TCC

A resident of Khmelnytskyi was found guilty of making a false report about the mining of the TCC and sentenced to five years and two months of imprisonment. A resident of Khmelnytskyi was found guilty of making a false report about the mining of the TCC and sentenced to five years and two months of imprisonment.

This is reported by the Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

“In February 2025, a 52-year-old resident of Khmelnytskyi, in a state of alcohol intoxication, called the “102” line and reported known false information about the mining of the premises of the Khmelnytskyi district territorial center of procurement and social support. By his actions, he created a threat to the safety of citizens and disrupted the work of a state institution,” the message reads.

It is noted that after the arrest, the man was in custody.

The attacker was found guilty of making a knowingly false report about the preparation of an explosion in a building that ensures the activity of state authorities (Part 2 of Article 259 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Taking into account previous convictions, he was sentenced to 5 years and 2 months of imprisonment.

We will remind you that in two days over a thousand reports of “mining” were checked in Kyiv.

Kyiv police received a series of messages about possible mining of several buildings, including educational institutions, shopping centers and administrative premises.
