According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the 34-year-old football player is close to signing a contract with the Roman Lazio. The deal runs until the end of the current season with an option to extend, and Insigne wants to work again with Maurizio Sarri, under whom he already played at Napoli between 2015 and 2018.
Insigne has been a free agent since the summer of 2025 when he left Toronto after three seasons in MLS. Lazio already tried to sign the Italian in the summer, but the transfer failed due to the club’s recently lifted transfer ban.
