The Ukrainian enterprise Frontline Robotics in partnership with the German defense giant Quantum Systems is increasing the production capacity of the Linz unmanned bomber within the framework of the Build with Ukraine strategic initiative.
As reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, this project is aimed at strengthening the Ukrainian army with modern technological solutions that combine international experience and local expertise. The drone is specially adapted to the conditions of modern warfare and is capable of performing a wide range of combat tasks on the front line.
The technical characteristics of the device allow it to transport up to 2 kilograms of payload at a distance of up to 10 kilometers, which makes it an effective tool for pinpoint damage to enemy manpower and equipment. In addition to the functions of a bomber, the drone is actively used for remote mining of territories and strengthening the capabilities of tactical reconnaissance. The lens is equipped with a modern gyro-stabilized camera with digital zoom, which ensures high image quality even during active maneuvering.
An important advantage of the design is the presence of a remote antenna, which guarantees the safety of the operator, allowing him to control the drone directly from the shelter. This architecture of the system minimizes the risks of detecting Ukrainian military positions by means of radio-electronic intelligence of the Russian Federation. Cooperation with Quantum Systems opens access to stable supply chains of components and the latest technologies, which ensures the rapid scaling of the production of these critical weapons on the territory of Ukraine in 2025.
Ukraine plans to open one of the first offices in Berlin, which will deal with the export of Ukrainian weapons, as well as the development of joint production projects with Germany.
