In Vinnytsia, the law enforcement officers informed about the suspicion of five participants of a group attack on a 16-year-old teenager, which happened in one of the shopping and entertainment centers of the city.
The Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor’s Office officially announced suspicions against four more suspects aged 15, 16, 18 and 19 who, together with a previously arrested accomplice, participated in the brutal beating of a minor on the evening of December 21, 2025.
All five attackers are charged with hooliganism committed by a group of individuals, which was accompanied by special audacity and disrespect for society. In total, the investigation identified six active participants in the event, including five boys and one girl, who not only mocked the victim, but also published a video of their actions on social networks.
The conflict began in the premises of the shopping center, where a group of teenagers led by a 16-year-old leader chose a victim under an insignificant pretext. Under the pressure of threats, the attackers forced a peer to go out into the parking lot and started hitting him, but their actions were temporarily stopped by a passer-by. Despite the intervention of a witness, the attackers overtook the boy on the street near the exit from the center, knocked him to the ground again and continued to beat him with his hands and feet.
As a result of the incident, a 16-year-old resident of Vinnytsia received serious injuries, including a concussion, a closed craniocerebral injury, as well as numerous bruises and bruises on the head and limbs. For the offense committed, the suspects face up to five years of restriction of liberty or up to four years of imprisonment, depending on the degree of guilt of each participant. Law enforcement agencies continue to collect the evidence base for the final completion of the investigation and transfer of the case to court.
