Counterattack near Kupyansk. How the Defense Forces seized the initiative, says Vsevolod Kozhemyako

The Kupyan direction is one of the hottest in this war. It was here that the Russian army tried to break through the Ukrainian defenses. The head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, together with the chief of his General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, even announced the full occupation of the city and invited journalists there.

However, the Defense Forces of Ukraine conducted a successful counterattack, which completely changed the course of the fighting on this part of the front.
