The track is already available on streaming platforms.
In time for Christmas, the “Cultural Forces” platform presented a new music video for Mykolai Serga’s song “Shadow God” – about faith, war and life choices that a person makes in the darkest moments.
The song “Shadow God” is already available on streaming platforms, and the clip becomes its visual continuation – it is an attempt to once again talk about what military and civilian people live today: fatigue, doubts, but at the same time – the need to always choose life.
This is not a religious manifesto and not an answer to the question “Where is God during war?”. This is an honest conversation about inner resistance – what helps you not to break when danger, fatigue and daily uncertainty surround you.
In war, a person is saved not only by armor and weapons. Often what saves is what is real: conversation with loved ones, memories of home, love, faith – in life, in brothers and sisters nearby, in a meaning that is worth living on. This is what “Shadow of God” is about.
The song talks about faith – not as a dogma, but as an inner state. About the ability to find light even when only shadows are visible. About understanding the right choice not as a ready-made formula, but as an experience that opens up through pain, losses and time.
And the music video for the song “Shadow God” is an attempt to show and speak what many people feel, but cannot always articulate: at a moment when it seems that there is no hope, choosing life becomes an act of strength.
“Cultural Forces” – a platform that unites military personnel of creative professions, cultural figures, analysts and volunteers.
