“Sivert, you were one of the strongest. You were a driving force in the truest sense. You had the ability to get out of the most difficult situations. Where everyone else gave up, you stepped on the gas.
Sievert, you were a role model, an inspiration, you had an indomitable will that others could only dream of. Thanks for everything Sivert. Eternal memory,” Legrad wrote.
Sturla and Sievert weren’t just teammates – they also won the men’s relay together at the 2022 World Cup in Kontiolahti, Finland.
