The Central Election Commission adopted a resolution that restores the functioning of the automated system “State Register of Voters” in terms of interaction with citizens. “Restoration of the full functioning of the services of the State Register of Voters is the result of the systematic and painstaking work of the commission, which was implemented in several stages, regarding the strengthening of cyber security and protection of personal data, the stability of the functioning of the electronic systems of the commission in the conditions of martial law. The CEC works to protect voter data as much as possible and at the same time to ensure the openness and accessibility of public information resources,” explained Deputy Chairman of the CEC Serhiy Dubovyk.

At the same time, the parliament is preparing to introduce a law on elections during martial law. Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk said that the law will be used once, and the working group for the preparation of the draft law is headed by the first deputy speaker Oleksandr Kornienko. The group will include representatives of all factions, public organizations and the CEC, in order to agree on the rules for holding elections in difficult conditions.
