Volodymyr Pyatenko left the post of head coach of the women’s national team of Ukraine. The specialist announced his decision in a comment for Suspilne Sport.

“Yes, my contract is expiring, and I am not renewing it. I have personal reasons for this,” said Pyatenko.

The coach led the national team from 2023. Under his leadership, the women’s national team of Ukraine achieved historic success, breaking into the elite division of the League of Nations for the first time.

Before working in the national team, Pyatenko had extensive coaching experience at the club level. He worked with Donetsk Metalurg, Obolon, Chornomorets, as well as with women’s teams Dynamo and Zhilstroy-1, which currently plays under the name Metalist 1925.
