Fulham won an important home victory over Nottingham Forest in the match of the 17th round of the English Premier League. The only goal in the meeting was scored by Raul Jimenez, who converted a penalty at the end of the first half.

The fate of the match was decided by an episode in compensated time before the break: Kevin ended up on the lawn after a foul by Douglas Luis, and Jimenez confidently completed the eleven-meter penalty – 1:0.

In the second half, Nottingham Forest added significantly and created several dangerous moments, but the guests failed to realize them. Fulham played solid defense and kept a minimal lead until the final whistle.

In the 81st minute, Oleksandr Zinchenko entered the field for Forest, for whom it was the first match in the Premier League after recovering from an injury. However, the Ukrainian did not have time to significantly influence the course of the game.

The win saw Fulham move up to 13th in the table, recovering from their defeat to Newcastle in the League Cup. Nottingham Forest, in turn, could not continue the positive streak and remained close to the survival zone.
