In Kyiv, the Motherland was symbolically illuminated in honor of Energy Day

The DTEK company lit up the Batkivschyna-Maty monument with the colors of the Ukrainian flag as part of the “The Light Holds On” campaign dedicated to Energy Day. The DTEK company lit up the Batkivschyna-Maty monument with the colors of the Ukrainian flag as part of the “The Light Holds On” campaign dedicated to Energy Day.

This is stated in the message of DTEK.

“Yes, the light is on! On the eve of the longest night of the year, the Motherland-Mother reminds us of this from the hills of eternal Kyiv. And tomorrow is Energy Day. Don’t forget to congratulate relatives, friends and loved ones involved in this profession,” it says.

It is noted that no electricity from the power system is used for light projection.

Earlier, at one of the destroyed TPPs of DTEK, Rinat Akhmetov’s Christmas composition “Shchedryk” was performed by a choir and an orchestra.

Hourly blackout schedules will be in effect in Kyiv on December 23.

A light installation will appear at the central Kyiv railway station.
