The SBU referred the case to the court regarding the FSB agent who was preparing a terrorist attack in Lviv

The Security Service of Ukraine completed the investigation and submitted to the court an indictment against a 41-year-old resident of Pustomyt in the Lviv region, who is suspected of cooperating with the Russian FSB and preparing a terrorist attack in Lviv in July. According to the investigation, the man was transporting an improvised explosive device to attack Ukrainian law enforcement officers on the instructions of the Russian special services. The Security Service of Ukraine completed the investigation and submitted to the court an indictment against a 41-year-old resident of Pustomyt in the Lviv region, who is suspected of cooperating with the Russian FSB and preparing a terrorist attack in Lviv in July.

According to the investigation, the man was transporting an improvised explosive device to attack Ukrainian law enforcement officers on the instructions of the Russian special services.

He was detained while boarding a regular bus, having seized a bomb and a smartphone with the curator’s contacts from the Russian Federation.

The suspect previously served time for murder, drug crimes and fraud. He is charged with treason under martial law. If found guilty, the man faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
