- NAEC “Energoatom”
- “Ukrenergo”
- “Ukrhydroenergo”
“The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine will publish all the details regarding the course of competitive selection. The formation of the new composition of the supervisory councils is planned to be completed in January,” the government reports.
Also on Friday, December 12, the competition for four positions of independent members of the supervisory board of the national joint-stock company “Naftogaz of Ukraine” started.
“Our main goal is to ensure transparency, efficiency and control in the management of energy sector companies,” Svyridenko said.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyi on December 3 announced the termination of powers a “substantial part” of the composition of the supervisory boards of a number of state-owned energy companies. Among them are Centerenergo, GTS Operator, Market Operator, Ukrainian Distribution Networks and the Energy Company of Ukraine. According to him, new members of the supervisory boards should be appointed already in December.
November 10 NABU announced that it had exposed the activities of a criminal organizationwhose main focus was “systematic receipt of illegal benefits from the counterparties of “Energoatom” in the amount of 10% to 15% from the value of contracts”.
In this case, eight persons were notified of suspicion in this case. “Schemes” published the full list. Among the participants in the case are the co-founder of the studio “Kvartal-95” Timur Mindich (code name “Carlson” on NABU tapes), ex-advisor to the Minister of Energy Ihor Myronyuk (“Rocket”), executive director of security of “Energoatom” Dmytro Basov (“Tenor”) and four more “employees” of the so-called “back office for legalization of funds”: among them Oleksandr Zukerman (“Sugarman”), Ihor Fursenko (“Ryoshik”), Lesya Ustymenko and Lyudmila Zorina.
One of the suspects – Oleksandr Zukerman (“Sugarman”) called “lying” accusations of NABU and SAP and promised to return to Ukraine. Timur Mindich did not comment on the case. NSDO put on sanctions on both of them.
