Karl Stefanovic showed off his incredible weight loss on Sunday while enjoying a relaxing day at the beach in Noosa, Queensland.

The Today show star, 51, was spotted soaking up the sun at Noosa Beach alongside his brother Peter Stefanovic and sister-in-law Sylvia Jeffreys, with the trio taking a refreshing swim before enjoying a leisurely walk along the shoreline.

Karl looked happy and healthy as he strolled barefoot along the sand, cutting a casual figure in a pair of dark board shorts that showed off his noticeably slimmer frame.

At one point, the veteran broadcaster was seen cooling off in the water with Peter and Sylvia nearby, laughing and chatting as they enjoyed some downtime together during the festive season.

The veteran broadcaster appeared relaxed and at ease as he chatted animatedly, at times gesturing with his hands and laughing as the trio made their way along the water’s edge.

Sky News reporter Peter kept things practical for the sunny outing, opting for a pair of blue swim shorts and a wide-brimmed sun hat as he joined his brother for a dip in the ocean.

Meanwhile, Today Extra co-host Sylvia turned heads in a plunging blue one-piece swimsuit, showing off her toned figure as she confidently walked along the beach beside her husband.

It looked to be a fun-filled day for the trio, who were smiling and chatting as they enjoyed some festive downtime away from their busy television schedules.

Karl appeared particularly upbeat during the outing, frequently grinning as he emerged from the surf and towelled off before heading back toward the sand.

The beach outing comes one year after Karl candidly addressed his infamous ‘dad bod’ moment, which sparked a blunt text message from his billionaire best mate James Packer.

Appearing on The Kyle and Jackie O Show in November 2024, he said he was left humbled after a picture of him revealing his ‘dad bod’ on the beach led the billionaire businessman to text him.

‘There’s a shot of me on Christmas Day or whatever coming out of the surf, and it was bad,’ Karl told hosts Jackie ‘O’ Henderson and Kyle Sandilands.

‘James Packer sends me a note that says, “Mate, you need to get your a*** to the gym.”‘

James, 58, himself recently revealed he was still gaining weight despite admitting to being on Ozempic.

Karl admitted that James Packer’s note served as a huge wake up call to get into shape

‘If you’re getting notes from Packer about that, you know it’s serious,’ Kyle, 54, said.

The photo in question was snapped in Byron Bay over the summer in 2019 when Karl was enjoying some downtime with Jasmine.

Karl even shared the photo to Instagram, joking with followers that he was pregnant.

‘After a great deal of speculation… the rumours are true,’ Karl captioned the cheeky post.

Jackie, 50, then asked Karl how he dealt with seeing such ‘confronting images’, and he said while he was embarrassed, Jasmine had always been very supportive.

‘I feel like it’s a lot of embarrassment, but then my wife is always so good about it,’ Karl said.

Back in 2020, Karl pledged to lose 10 kilograms in 10 weeks on the Today show after tipping the scales at over 100kg.

‘I started at 105kg, the heaviest I’ve ever been. It was incredibly embarrassing,’ Karl said as he spoke to obesity expert Dr Nick Fuller, who helped him on his fitness journey.
