According to the investigation, on December 18, around 3:50 p.m., the judge, driving a Hyundai Accent car, was driving along Dudynska Street in the city of Kharkiv in the direction of Lyubov Maloi Avenue.

While approaching an unregulated pedestrian crossing marked by a traffic sign, the driver did not reduce speed or stop to give way to pedestrians who were crossing the road.

As a result, the car ran over two girls aged 13 and 14.

The victims with serious injuries were hospitalized and are in the intensive care unit.

Currently, all necessary procedural measures are being taken to inform the judge about the suspicion.

It has been preliminarily established that the driver was sober, the SBI notes.
