Tymoshenko said that “Batkivshchyna” is collecting signatures for the resignation of the government / UNIAN photo, Andriy KrymskyiThe opposition in the form of the political force “Batkivshchyna” is collecting signatures for the resignation of the government. People’s deputy, leader of the “Batkivshchyna” party Yulia Tymoshenko stated this during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada on December 19.
“Our team continues to collect signatures for the resignation of the government. And we are convinced that we will collect the necessary 150 signatures in order to reformat the coalition, the government, and most importantly, the strategy of managing the country,” she said.
The party leader also emphasized the need to create a coalition of national unity and a government of the same name.
“I now state very clearly that for the sake of saving Ukraine, for the sake of conducting a professional and absolutely committed peace process to Ukraine, a coalition of national unity, a government of national unity and joint work are needed to bring the country out of this stupor and constant economic problems,” she added.
According to Tymoshenko, Ukraine is currently in complete chaos due to the unprofessionalism of the current government – financial, organizational and managerial.
“We need to change all this immediately. The situation at the front is difficult. The budget, which was adopted by 30%, has absolutely corrupt models that are incompatible with the life of a warring country,” the politician summarized.
What precededPreviously, Yulia Tymoshenko emphasized the need for political unity to overcome the crisis in the country.
We will remind, on December 2, the opposition blocked the rostrum in the Verkhovna Rada, demanding the resignation of the government.
