Zelensky’s direct speech: “The transfer of Oreshnik to the territory of Belarus is being completed. We understand where it will be, where it will be placed. We will pass the information on to our partners. I think that the partners themselves can assess this threat and understand how to react to it.”

Details: According to the president, Ukraine warned its European and American partners about the placement of the Oreshnik in Belarus. “We showed the distance at which Oreshnik will act. This is a threat to many European countries, including Poland, Germany, and other countries,” Zelenskyy said.
He reminded that Russia has already used “Oreshnik” in Ukraine and that you can’t shoot it down with drones, but “we understand how to deal with it.”
At the same time, Zelensky said that Ukraine asked Western partners to introduce sanctions against companies that supply components for Oreshnik and without which Russia cannot develop Oreshnik production.
“I have not seen these imposed sanctions, to be honest. For now, we believe that Russia will continue to produce Oreshnik. Thank God, it is still unable to produce a lot of it, despite (whatever) objections it makes,” the president said.
He added that if Western partners, including the United States, make “a lot of diplomatic efforts to end the war, can our partners put pressure on Russia in the same way so that it does not place Oreshnik closer to Europe’s borders with Poland.”
