“Our problem in the last matches is that we don’t realize the moments we have. I can’t say that there were many of them with Rijeka, but we still have to squeeze the most out of what we have. For example, when we get to the penalty area where we need to hit or pass, we don’t do it, but turn around and return the ball back.
If we take specifically the result after the first half of the season, then I can only put a plus. Regarding the game, as I already said, it is necessary to work out our problems both in defense and in attack. There will be time to work with the team, there will be meetings – a month or more to prepare, and I think we will be able to close the gaps,” Matvienko is quoted as saying by the club’s press service.
