CBS has released the official trailer for Survivor’s milestone 50th season, offering the first real look at how the previously announced “In the Hands of the Fans” theme will shape the game. The high-energy teaser (below), which aired during Wednesday night’s season 49 finale After Show, also confirms the return of two of the season’s biggest standouts: winner Savannah Louie and breakout strategist Rizo Velovic.

The trailer, which opens with Benjamin “Coach” Wade quoting Magellan, has a grand sense of Survivor history, and includes White Lotus creator and show alum Mike White among the cast. Multiple players discuss the series’ longevity and its impact on their lives. The “Hands of the Fans” twist is clearly on the players’ minds and cameos look to be a factor this season, with tribes getting visits from singer Zac Brown and YouTuber Jimmy “Mr. Beast” Donaldson. Other celebrity visitors to Fiji include Jimmy Fallon and Billie Eilish.

Host and executive producer Jeff Probst previously told The Hollywood Reporter that the milestone season would “feel different from anything we’ve ever done,” and the first-look footage appears to reinforce that. The fan-influenced framework, combined with returning players and a heightened sense of scale, positions Survivor 50 as both a celebration and a recalibration of the franchise.

As the milestone 50th season approaches, The Hollywood Reporter will provide in-depth reporting on the cast and a behind-the-scenes look at how the show is shaping its most ambitious installment yet. Here’s a look at the cast of Survivor 50which premieres Feb. 25, 2026.
