Direct speech Trump: “Eleven months ago, I inherited a mess. And I’m fixing it.”

Details: Trump listed a litany of complaints about Biden-era policies, citing “open” borders, transgender men competing in women’s sports, crime, “the worst trade deals ever made” and a “sick and corrupt” federal government.

Trump took a depressing tone when describing his time outside the White House.

For the past four years, the United States has been governed by politicians who have only fought for insiders, illegal immigrants, career criminals, corporate lobbyists, prisoners, terrorists, and most of all, foreign powers who have taken advantage of us on a scale never seen before.

Direct speech Trump: “For the past four years, the United States has been ruled by politicians who have fought only for insiders, illegal immigrants, career criminals, corporate lobbyists, prisoners, terrorists and, above all, foreign powers who have used us on unprecedented levels.”

Details: According to Trump, with his return to the White House, everything has changed

Direct speech Trump: “In a few short months, we went from the worst to the best.”

Details: Trump once again criticized Biden for his migration policy and praised his administration’s efforts to stop illegal migration.

Direct speech Trump: “For the last seven months, not a single illegal immigrant has been allowed into our country, which everyone thought was absolutely impossible. You remember how Joe Biden said he needed Congress to pass legislation to help close the border.

As it turned out, we didn’t need the law. We just needed a new president. We inherited the worst border in the world, and we quickly turned it into the strongest border in our country’s history.”

Details: Trump didn’t miss an opportunity to praise his administration’s economic successes, saying he had made significant progress in lowering prices despite widespread voter dissatisfaction with the cost of living.

CNN notes that during “the 18-minute speech, Trump seemed to find himself deviating from the prompter at various points, quickly returning to his planned lines. The timing made the speech seem rushed at times and added a level of intensity to his speech.”

In his address, Trump also mentioned the settlement of wars.

Direct speech Trump: “I restored American power, resolved eight wars in 10 months.”

Details: CNN called the claim an exaggeration: “While Trump has played a role in resolving some of the conflicts (at least temporarily), the figure of eight is a clear exaggeration.”

In his address, Trump did not mention Russia’s war against Ukraine and the negotiations between the parties with the mediation of the United States. He also did not say about the situation with Venezuela and the blockade of its ships, which the American president announced the day before.
