A total of 125 combat clashes took place since the beginning of this day. Ukrainian defenders resolutely repel the enemy’s attempts to advance deep into our territory, inflicting fire damage on him.

Today, Russian forces carried out 28 airstrikes, dropping 82 guided aerial bombs. In addition, 3,145 kamikaze drones were involved in the strikes and 2,233 attacks were carried out on the positions of our troops and populated areas.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian soldiers repelled three assaults by the occupiers. In addition, the enemy carried out 115 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas, seven of which were fired from rocket salvo fire systems.

In the South-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units six times near the settlements of Lyman, Odradne, Dovgenke and towards the settlement of Izbytske.

In the Kupian direction, the aggressor twice carried out offensive actions towards the settlements of Pishchane and Hlushkivka.

In the Lyman region, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 11 times near the settlements of Novovodyane, Kolodyazi, Drobysheve, Novoselyvka and towards the settlement of Cherneshchyna.
Four enemy assaults were repulsed by Ukrainian defenders in the Slavyansk direction – the occupiers tried to advance in the Serebryanka, Siversk and Pereizny districts.

At the moment, no clashes have been recorded in the Kramatorsk direction.

In the direction of Kostiantynivka, the Russians attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 16 times in the areas of the settlements Oleksandro-Shultine, Kleban-Bik, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar and towards Kostiantynivka and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsky direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have tried to advance on the positions of Ukrainian units 37 times. The enemy attacked in the areas of Shakhove, Rodynske, Chervyn Liman, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Kotlyna, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne and in the direction of Novopavlivka. In some locations, the fighting has not subsided until now.

According to preliminary data, 78 occupiers were neutralized in this direction today, 42 of them irreversibly. Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed a tank, three artillery systems, 35 unmanned aerial vehicles, six vehicles and a ground robotic complex. In addition, Ukrainian defenders hit 12 shelters for the enemy’s personnel and ammunition.

In the Oleksandrivsk direction, the enemy tried nine times to break through the defenses of our defenders in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrograd, Sosnivka, Solodke, Privilne, Krasnohirske and in the direction of Dobropill. One battle is ongoing.

In the Gulyaipol direction, the enemy attacked ten times the positions of our defenders in the Gulyaipol area and towards Varvarivka.

In the Orihiv direction, the occupiers tried three times to advance in the Plavni district, but were repulsed.

Today, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Dnieper direction.

There were no significant changes in the rest of the directions.

Briefly about this day.

First of all – reports from our regions. Wherever necessary, restoration work continues around the clock. This is often the heroic work of our repair crews, our energy engineers, involved utility services, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and especially in areas close to the border with Russia, close to the front line. Everywhere they are working to restore the supply of electricity to our people, our communities. It is important that there are no gaps in this. So that local and regional authorities do not forget about any of the streets, about any of the villages. Everywhere, the work must be prompt, and the responsibility for this is personal.

And now I would like to especially mention our rescuers – workers of the State Emergency Service, primarily in the South of Ukraine, where there is a lot of work after the recent Russian strikes. Odesa region, namely Yuri Afanasyev, Ruslan Bobok, Yevhen Belchenko, Vitaly Burlak, Vitaly Hrytsak, Serhiy Lepshiy, Oleksiy Maloman, Andriy Mandzyuk, Serhii Morozov, Oleksandr Semenov. Thank you, guys, and all your colleagues in Odesa and the region!

Also, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv Region, and these are Oleksandr Babii, Vladyslav Vozniuk, Dmytro Zarvanskyi, Andrii Kravchenko, and Volodymyr Krytskyi. Thank you and your colleagues! Each of our regions, each city, each community must count on the full efficiency of emergency services, energy companies, and each government institution. The Government of Ukraine must help as much as possible, and we provide resources for this, in particular, through our work with partners.

Ukrainian diplomacy has two priorities: to work for the defense of Ukraine and to work for our stability. Actually, the defense of independence and the right to life of Ukrainians is based on these two elements, and this is exactly what Russia is fighting against.

Today we heard another signal from Moscow that they are preparing the next year as a year of war. And these signals are not only for us. It is important that partners see this, and it is important that they not only see, but also react, especially partners in the United States of America, who often say that Russia seems to want to end the war. But from Russia, completely different rhetoric sounds, different signals – and as official orders of their army. We need to see this mood of Russia and react to it.

And when they have this kind of mood, they will also undermine diplomacy, trying to cover up their desire to destroy Ukraine, Ukrainians, and their desire to legitimize Russia’s theft of our land with various diplomatic formulations and pressure on this or that point in the documents. And then there are other countries in Europe that someone in Russia may one day call their so-called “historical lands”.

There needs to be real protection against this Russian story of insanity, and now we will continue to work with all partners to ensure that there is real protection. We need security solutions, we need financial solutions, in particular regarding Russian assets, we need political solutions. And it takes the courage of all our partners to see the truth, recognize the truth and act in it accordingly. I want to thank everyone who supports Ukraine and the work to achieve security in this way.

Tomorrow the leaders of Europe meet in Brussels, this is a very important meeting. The result of these meetings – the result of Europe – should be such that Russia feels that their desire to fight again next year will not make sense, because Ukraine will have support. It is one hundred percent up to Europe – it is up to Europe to make this choice.

We also expect that our representatives this week will continue the conversation and meetings with the American team about steps that can work for peace and guaranteed security.
