According to official data of the State Emergency Service, five children were among the injured. The enemy used guided aerial bombs (UAVs) to attack residential areas of the city, which caused large-scale destruction and a significant number of injured civilians.
The rescue units have already officially announced the completion of emergency rescue operations at the sites of the hits. In addition to direct assistance in clearing debris, psychologists of the State Emergency Service provided professional support to 27 citizens. Among those who needed psychological help were two children and two persons with reduced mobility who were in a state of great stress due to the attack.
This yet another blow to Zaporizhzhia’s civilian infrastructure underscores the critical need to strengthen air defenses to protect front-line cities from aerial terror. Currently, all victims are under the supervision of doctors, and city services are working to eliminate the consequences of destruction in the residential sector.
On Tuesday, December 17, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia and the Kushugum community.
It will be recalled that Russian troops attacked rescuers in Druzhkivka.
